Family – Illinois Council on Developmental Disabilities
The ICDD is an organization that is funded by a federal grant to determine current needs of people with intellectual disabilities. They have a Council that has a strong DD presence and provides advocacy assistance for people seeking community inclusion

All services for intellectual and developmental disabilities are funded through the Federal Medical Waiver program. Each State must request this funding through the Federal CMS for approval.
