What is the PRICE of a Legendary Prefab Home?

Generally, our Prefab Home Packages cost between $100 – $150/SF (+HST). The finished cost of your completed home could vary from $300 – $550+/SF (+HST).

What is included in a Legendary Prefab Home Package?

Our Prefab Home Packages include a fully enclosed structure, including exterior walls, complete with factory installed siding, windows, and doors, timber frame structural components, and insulated roof panels, prefinished with pine T&G ceilings.

How long does it take to build and install a Legendary Prefab Home?

An average sized home between 1400 – 2500 square feet can typically be installed within just 2 days, on your foundation, after which your general contractor can have the home move in ready in as little as 4 months. The overall time is typically between 6-8 months

I've never built a custom home before. Where do I start?

Do I need a building permit?

Yes. In almost all situations building permit approvals will be required before can any construction. This application can be made by you as the property owner, or your General Contractor. The exception would be if your build site is located in an unorganized township.

Does Legendary Group offer "turn-key" packages?

We offer a turn-key building solution by partnering with “Trusted Builders” in certain regions of our service area. They can oversee your building project from beginning to end.

How is a Prefab Home delivered and installed?

The building components are loaded onto our fleet of flatbed trucks and trailers and deliver them directly to your site. With the assistance of a crane, we place and install the components of your home package onto your foundation.

Are there options to customize a standard model plan?

Yes. The interior layout can be customized to suit your individual needs. You can choose the window and door package, the siding style, the ceiling finish, the timber stain colour and more.

How does Financing Work?

What material do you use for siding?

We prefer to use LP Smartside engineered wood siding. LP SmartSide offers the look of wood with superior durability, lower maintenance, and cost savings—making it a smart choice. Unlike, traditional wood siding which is more expensive and requires ongoing maintenance and upkeep. If you have a specific type of siding in mind, we’re happy to review it with you and see how it can be incorporated into our system.

What is the warranty on the standard window and door package?

The warranties are listed below on the material and suppliers we use:
Legendary Group:
Limited 12/10 Warranty – 12 Months on labour and material. Replacement of timber components from 13months – 10 years of delivery (restrictions apply). For our full warranty see the link: (where would the warranty document be linked to)
Windows and Doors:
