RUACH LIFE CENTER
RUACH INTERNATIONAL MINISTERIES: RUACH LIFE CENTER
Meets online and in-person every Sunday at 12:30 pm.
Who we are/why we exist:
Ruach International Ministeries; Ruach Life Center is a service-focused ministry birthed out of deep compassion for humanity in all its brokenness, and a mandate to impact the world, one community at a time, by delivering services that heal and uplift families and communities spiritually and materially. We labor alongside other members of the body of Christ, in communities that are dying or in decline, to prepare the way for renewed life by the word and Spirit of God.
Who we are called to:
We are called to the lost, the empty, the weary, the heartbroken, the despondent, the hopeless, the marginalized, and the bound. We are also called to those who seek and heed truth; those who remain standing after setbacks; those who hope despite obstacles; those who love God and humanity; and those who, prompted by this love, pay it forward in service. Ruach Life Center is called to the community in Houston and to communities around the world, as the Lord leads.

What we envision our impact will be on the communities we serve:
Faith in Christ, Hope for tomorrow, Love in action, Lives made whole
Mission statement:
Under the authority of scripture, we seek to fulfill our commitment to ministry through preaching, teaching, spiritual development, and biblical empowerment. In all our activities, including service, worship, instruction, and researching the word of God, Ruach Life Center, under the power and guidance of the Holy Spirit, strives for excellence in the service of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, to the glory of Almighty God.
How we plan to get there (Roadmap)
We will continually seek God’s guidance; this work is His, not man’s. we will engage in the life of our community. We will actively pursue opportunities to collaborate with other community partners and seek to build trust. We will deliver value-added services to community residents. We will preach and teach God’s word uncompromisingly. We will love people right where they are. We will strive to be all things to all men that, by some means, we might win some. We will teach the principles of discipleship and service to God and humanity (the Kingdom). We will leverage the resources available through grants and other funding sources to finance initiatives that impact and uplift communities, particularly with respect to educational outreach.

Leadership value:
We are God’s workmanship created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. (Eph 2:10).
We live a life worthy of the calling we have received (Eph. 4:1).
We are servant leaders. We work alongside those God has called to this vision. We recognize the potential for great Kingdom impact embodied in each individual—uniquely packaged with gifts, talents, experiences and perspectives that no one else possesses—and we value these ministry partners and members.
We recognize that pride goes before a fall, and humanity before honor.
What we believe (Doctrinal Statement):
According to 1 John 3:1 & Genesis 1:27, God exists in three persons eternally; father, Son and Holy Spirit – who are distinct activity but have the same attributes and same nature. (II Corinthians 13:14; Matthew 28:19).
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit – speaking in tongue, as lead by the Holy Spirit and the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
Proving His power over death and sin, we believe Jesus rose from the dead on the third day after He died on the cross. He now intercedes for sinful humanity after ascending into Heaven (I Timothy 2:5-6; I Corinthians 15:3-6).
We believe we can be reconciled to God by faith. So we grow in Christ – like character, His Spirit then reside in us to guide and comfort us. We choose to believe and have faith that He is our Lord and savior (Philippians 2:13; Galatians 5:22-23).
We believe and accept the testimony that Jesus Christ is both Son of God and man. We believe that in the name of Jesus Christ the son, the Spirit is sent by the Father; He is one with God the Father (John 10:30; 14:10, John 16:17).
At the time determined by the Father, we believe Jesus Christ will come to judge all peoples of the earth. He will fully accomplish redemption and remove death and sin. All who have put their believe in Him will be with Him forever in bodies like His-glorious, incorruptible and immortal. We believe Jesus Christ will reign on earth, at the end of all things (Revelation 21:1-6 I Corinthians 15:42, Mark 13:32).
It is impossible for us to be reconciled to God, only by ourselves. To pay the punishment in our place by dying on the cross, God the Father sent His son, Jesus, Because of His love and grace for us. There was nothing we could do to earn God’s favor or save ourselves (II Corinthians 5:19-21; Romans 5:8).
