Children's Ministry
Welcome to Children's Ministry
At Messiah we believe that parents are primary in passing on faith to their children. As a church, we strive to support, equip, and champion parents in this endeavor! We welcome children of all ages with open arms. We strive to have a wide variety of activities for youth of all ages to participate in. We also encourage youth to walk daily in their faith by teaching them about Faith 5.
SUNDAY MORNINGS
KidsKonnect Happens During 8:30 am and 10:15 am Worships
We are excited to have you join us for KidsKonnect, our Sunday morning experience for students ages 3 years old-5th grade (Middle School and High School students are invited to be helpers). Students will begin in worship with their families and then during the Hymn of Praise, students will be invited to come with us over to the fellowship hall for music, story, hands on experiences and prayer. This will all happen during both worships. We hope your family will come and experience this new fun-filled time.

Milestones
throughout the years. For children we offer four milestones:
- Baptism
- Preschool Bible
- 1st Communion
- 3rd Grade Bibles
The 1st Communion class is usually held in October. As part of this milestone, students get to make their own chalices & paint them at Potter’s Wheel. Each family decides at what age their child should receive their 1st communion. For more information about milestones, please contact Michelle Mote.

Upper Elementary Event
First Sunday of the Month
At 5-7 pm
All 3rd graders through 5th graders please join us on the first Sunday of the month where you can get to know each other and have fun! Event will vary per month

Child Care
A nursery is provided at the rear of the sanctuary for parents and children younger than four years old during all of our worship gatherings. You may use it during worship to help with your children or we have a nursery attendant named Jennifer who is excited to watch your children for you.

Create Your Own Bag for Worship
As children walk into worship each Sunday they are encouraged to grab a bag and create their own custom bag with items on the table. After worship the children can put everything back in their bag and place it in the basket on their way out of worship.
