Backpacks help our students carry their school books long distances as they walk to school and back home. Many of the text books these students are using to study at home are books Acts of Wisdom has purchased through donations from donors. We want to be sure to protect that investment and these backpacks help to do that. In addition, our students take pride in their studies when they receive a backpack. If you or your group would like to make a backpack for our students here’s all you have to do:

-Follow the pattern and use a heavier fabric so the backpacks will last longer. 

-Assemble the backpacks up until the stringing part. DON’T string them. This will also help with packing them and shipping them to us.

-Be sure to include your name or your congregation’s name so we know who they are from. It would be great if in each bag you could put a little note to our students. It adds a personal touch and is meaningful to them.
